Text: Romans 8:18-25
The theme of our text is hope, and we sure are experts at that, either having it or losing it. But our text is about the ultimate hope that underlies all other ones. Some of you have heard this story, but it bears repeating. A woman was given a few months to live. As she sat with her pastor to plan her funeral service, she made an odd demand: “I must be buried with a fork in my right hand.”
Join us this Sunday via our website (npcsatx.org) to celebrate Holy Communion (be sure to have your bread and juice ready) and to reaffirm the importance of keeping our fork.
