Rev. Elise Renee Neal
Pastor Elise was born in the small town of Phillipi, West Virginia, where she lived with her family until going to Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. She specialized in Early Childhood Education and spent several years as a teacher and Christian Educator. Her first call took her far from home to Sioux City, Iowa. She returned home to Fairmont, West Virginia in 2012, where she was very active in the Presbytery. She has a wonderful family with her husband of 12 years, Ryan. Three active children and a mini Dachshund keep her busy hiking, biking, visiting parks, and creating campfires in their backyard. They are still exploring San Antonio, and are excited about what the city has to offer. She feels that “God has opened a door to great possibilities where I can continue to be obedient to hearing His word and doing His work. Once we put our faith in God’s hands letting His spirit guide us, we will continue to grow, learn and dream what is possible through His love and care. At the core of my being, I want to show the world the love of Jesus Christ.”

Director of Christian Education
Sara Holland has been on staff at Northminster as the Director of Christian Education since 2013. She grew up as a military child, only settling in San Antonio to attend college. She holds BAs in both History and in Elementary education and a Masters in Teaching from Trinity University. She and Will have been married for 22 years and are raising 3 daughters and 2 dogs. Please don’t ask who is better behaved. When not working, she particularly enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading while sitting on the beach, and traveling. In reality, she spends her time away from work going to HEB, doing laundry, and generally trying to keep her house from falling apart. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve the members and friends of such a loving and supportive faith community.
